Last Nomad is a collaborative project with Advanced Denim. Serving as a metaphor for Chinese culture, we embody the wandering nomads, drifting between tradition and the future, abiding by our own set of rules, carving out a distinct identity.
“It's a journey back to my roots, drawing inspiration from the Miao ethnic group in my hometown of Guizhou. In the imagery of “tradition”, denim takes on the silhouette of traditional Miao attire, while the “future” aspect draws from the border fences and homeless populations amidst Europe's refugee crisis.”
