The theme revolves around a summer adventure of children from a rural town. Drawing references from nostalgic 80s horror films and photography, this collection pays homage to America and the imagery that fuels Jerry Chu's creativity.
In garment design, a playful and doll-like design language is presented through distorted cuts and shapes. Soft cashmere, distressed lace, and rugged technical fabrics are mixed to evoke surreal scenes from childhood dreams.
