A brutal reality and a dream.

-REBORN

REBORN is a redefinition of tailoring. Inspired by the Coventry Cathedral, a Gothic structure destroyed during World War II. In the reconstruction plan, the new church coexists with the ruined tower, forming a city square where the dialogue between old and new symbolizes hope for the future.




This suit combines traditional bespoke techniques with industrial production. The left half is a full canvas suit made from Italian wool, while the other half is a rolled-collar jacket with utility pockets.

The bottom is designed as a pleated skirt-pants, inspired by The Rational Dress Society of the 1880s, advocating for women's freedom in clothing, particularly for cycling, diverging from traditional bodices and long skirts.


The prints, blend the sculptures and textures of the church's ruined shell with an illustration from Colin Thompson's children's book “The Tower To The Sun”.
